The true story of Bilderberg group
The Bilderberg group is indeed the most powerful organization of the world. This is a group of influential people which includes mostly the top politicians and businessmen around the world.Bilderberg is not the official name of this group, the Bilderberg title came from the location where the first official meeting of this group took place in 1954,the Bilderberg Hotel, Arnhem, the Netherlands. There are approximately over 130 members in this elite group who meets every year mostly in Europe and once in every four year in USA & Canada.In 2009 the Bilderberg meeting took place from 14-16 May in Athens, Greece. This group has an office in Leiden, South Holland.
Purpose of the annual conference
The first meeting was initiated by, in May 29 1954, a Police political adviser called Joseph Retinger . The main agenda of that conference was to reduce anti-Americanism in Western Europe.In that meeting , Joseph Retinger Proposed an international conference aiming the leaders of Europe and the United States bring together in order to promote the understanding between the cultures of America and Western Europe.
The success of the first meeting inspired the organizers to arrange conference on annual basis. Retinger was elected as permanent secretary of the permanent steering committee of the Bilderberg.
The conspiracy theories
The press was never allowed to attend any Annual meetings of the Bilderberg group. Not even a single agenda discussed in the meeting was published to public. This has raise the question of conspiracy theories like when all the powerful people of the world meeting up secretly and if they discuss for the betterment of the world and ordinary people then why not to publish it publicly.
Jonathan Duffy,in BBC news online magazine states :
No reporters are invited in and while confidential minutes of meetings are taken, names are not noted... In the void created by such aloofness, an extraordinary conspiracy theory has grown up around the group that alleges the fate of the world is largely decided by Bilderberg
Can News Media be Manipulated by the Bilderbergers?
Perhaps,only a small number of News media giving us the real news about politics and other challenges ahead of us. Recently,Rupert Murdoch(a bilderberger) admits in a television interview that media are responsible to some extent to manipulate the public opinion.He also admitted that during the last Iraq war his media was backing the Bush policy.

The possible reasons of the Bilderberg group’s conference can be:
1) The secrecy of Bilderberg meetings hint towards an artificial 'consensus' in some important global issues like war, finance, politics etc.
2) Since all the members of the bilderberg group are pro globalization, the annual meetings reinforce their support for globalization.
3) This group works as a forum for interviewing and selecting of the potential future world leaders Like Obama, Clinton., so that their main purpose of accumulation of wealth and power remains in their own hands.In 2008 both the US presidential candidates Barak Obama and Hilary Clinton had a meeting with Bilderberg group in Westfields Marriott,Virginia.
The goal of Bilderberg Group
Total control of the world and take the world towards globalization. In fact most of the elite of the world think alike specially those who are interested in totalitarian regime or world .Though not all elite want this type of scenario, a handful number of elite,powerful enough to influence the world economy, think they are controlling the world economy. What else can be better than globalization if some of the elite have the total control of world politics and economy. Perhaps Bilderberg believes in god-is-money theory There are many things going on under the curtain what we common people don’t know or not try to know, even some are not interested to know. Yet we can not leave our future to the hands of a few irrational elite. Maybe time tell us the truth, yet we should not wait for the truth to come out rather its always better to figure out the truth.

I saw a question on the Trilateral Commission at another site. The BBG/TC/Illuminati-Freemasonary & other s.socities are all siblings of each other. More people need to know about them. I have the 80's list of members, which also include much of today's media. The Bush family goes way back into all the secret societies. New age ones are pawn-people if you will.

@Tammy, the book of Deuteronomy also holds as much of the future as Revelation. Their times could very well differ from our minute to minute. Scary & working. When we are afraid, who do we look to for help? (Question rhetorical)
They are already diminishing the population by closing mental institutions and prisons filled unnecessarily, keeping those without families asleep until their death, and I can prove that.

Hi Adromida, wow, well when I was a kid and learned about them my dad told me "someday there will be a policeman on every corner watching everything we do" I said, well, that's a lot of policemen daddy! Now I am gown, and is there NOT a camera in just about EVERYPLACE we go? Intersections, so there's no argument of whose fault it is. In stores, I actually have black tape across my "built in webcam".. I don't trust that, it's an open connection!
People don't know but when Japan had the Tsunami, do you know how a lot of them got reunited with their pets? They are chipped. Slowly we're getting desensitized to these things, so that someday it'll be the norm to chip your child. They keep instilling fear of lost children, and think how many parents will fall for it! It would seem that society is loathe to accept that men who have held postions of great power were homosexual. It just doesn't fit in with their schema of homosexuality. In my early twenties, my best friend was gay and I used to go with him to some of the clubs in Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage. I learned fairly quickly that my stereotypes about gay men were all wrong.
Great hub! I have a book on this topic, and I too, am am deeply concerned over the trend towards globalization, and the absolute power that the will result from this disturbing trend. I don't have high hopes for 2012. We need a Ron Paul, but will end up with a puppet of the global elite. The beat goes on.

Obama is not only a member of The Bilderberg Group but so are Hillary and Bill Clinton along with Henrey Kissenger. Obama has placeed twelve of these members in his cabinet. Guess were this nation is headed? Also alarming to me Kissenger was heard to say the world is about 50% too large. It will be too hard to control. This was on national television. When asked if he was serious. he stated that he doesn't apologize for anything he says. When asked about The New World Order. his comment was the time is close at hand.
I was so surprised and thrilled to see this piece written here. While I was in college a few years back studying for my business degree I had to write a lot of papers. I was trying to remember how I tripped across the subject, but I researched and wrote a report on how the media was now being controlled by six wealthy people. It really amazed me that this would be allowed. All of the news filtered through a handful of people. Thats not news, thats propaganda! I have also read a lot about the Builderbergs and the Illumanate. This is all very worrisome but it does follow right along the Revelations of the Bible. I do pray for more and more awareness, because the thought that wakes me from my sleep is the sheep headed for slaughter. People are becoming brainwashed, We all need to do our part to spread the word and invoke changes and you have done that beautifully with this piece, Thank you
